Obituary
John Mahlon Anderson, Jr., 78, husband of the late Judith Follett Anderson, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019.
Born in Marion, VA, he was the son of the late John Mahlon Anderson, Sr. and Flossie Jones Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, the American Chemical Society, the American Society for Quality, and the Wytheville Genealogical Society.
He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Anderson Evangelista and husband, Tomas, and Kay Anderson-Melba and husband, John; four grandchildren, Hayley Melba, Collin Melba, Savannah Evangelista, and Coralina Evangelista; mother-in-law, Mary Follett; and sisters-in-law, Nina Bergendoff, and Patty Althenn.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Gwyn.
