Joseph Dan ("Danny") Mullinax, Jr.

July 11, 1968 ~ August 4, 2018 (age 50)

Joseph Dan Mullinax, Jr., ”Danny”, 50, of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at home.

   Born in Greenville to Joseph “Joe” D. Mulllinax, Sr. and the late Ella Elizabeth Turner Mullinax, he worked as a brick mason at Feltman Brothers and attended Washington Avenue Baptist Church.

   Danny is survived by his children, Joshua Mullinax and Taylor Mullinax; 5 siblings, Joanna Stewart, Jamie Mullinax, Kelly Fail (William), Israel Mullinax and Callie Mullinax; sister in-law, Candie Mullinax; nieces and nephews, Misty Wooten, Alex Mullinax, Sabrina Stewart, Corey Stewart, Ashlie Stewart, Eric Stewart, Michelle Bowen, Halen Mullinax, Josie Haskell, Joseph Campbell, Katelyne Campbell, Xander Fail, Graeson Fail, Doria Fail, Daniel Fail and Skylar Shrewsbury.

   In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lucretia Reynolds Mullinax; a brother, Jody Mullinax; nieces, Megan Mullinax and Kandice Broome; and nephew Furman Broome.

   A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Graceland West Cemetery.

   Flowers are accepted or memorials to Washington Avenue Baptist Church, 200 N. Washington Ave., Greenville, SC 29611 or Cancer Society of Greenville, 113 Mills Ave., Greenville, SC 29605 may be made.

   The family is at the home, 109 Courtland Drive, Greenville, SC 29617.
