Kenneth Deuring, 99, husband of Marlene T. Deuring, of Greenville, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018.
Born in Cleveland, OH, he was a son of the late Edward and Gertrude Beckman Deuring.
Kenneth served in the United States Navy during WWII and played the clarinet in the Navy band. A graduate of Cleveland Heights High School and Case Western Reserve, he worked at TRW and Gould in Cleveland, OH as an engineer. Kenneth loved working with steam engines.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a stepdaughter, Joyce Lindsey (Steve); three step grandsons, Greg Stowe (Lori), Eric Turner (Chantelle), and Marc Lindsey; three step great grandchildren; a niece, Wendy Deuring-Abraham (Mark); and a nephew, Dwight Deuring (Janice).
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his first wife, Delores Byrley Deuring; a brother, Edward Deuring; and a sister, Helen June Pollitt.
At Kenneth’s request, no services will be held.
