Linda C. Watson, 77, beloved wife of the late Robert W. Watson III, died peacefully November 28, 2019.

Born in Central, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thurston and Hattie Canup. She retired from the School District of Greenville County to take on the role of caregiver. She was always willing to accept and help others as she had a servants heart. She was extremely kind and compassionate. She was child of God, an amazing daughter, wife, Mother, Nana, friend and will be terribly missed.

Linda was an active member of Laurel Baptist Church for many years. She assisted with Sunday School classes and always supported the church in any way she could.  

She is survived by her daughters, Tracey Holder (Danny) of Greenville , Heather Watson of Lawrenceville Ga, and Mandy Baxley (Robert) of Athens Ga; grandchildren, Wyman Baxley, Loy Brynne Baxley, and Nolan Holder; brother, Donnie Timms; and sisters-in-law Sallie Osteen and Ellen Watson; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held Monday, December 2, 2019 from 12:00 noon until 12:45 p.m. at Laurel Baptist Church followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.
