Albert “Ray” Tollison, 90, husband of Joyce Hendrix Tollison, of Greenville, died Sunday, June 16, 2019.

Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Hulet Lee and Edna Massey Tollison.

Ray served in the United States Army and retired from Union Carbide – Donaldson Center. He was of the Church of God faith. Ray enjoyed yard work and was always at peace in his yard.

In addition to his loving wife of 64 years, Ray is survived by a daughter, Lynn Tollison Conlin (Matt) of Powdersville; a son, Ronald Ray Tollison (Joyce) of Easley; two granddaughters, Abigail Rae Conlin of Powdersville and Carol Lea Janssen (Todd) of Greenville; and a granddog, Lexi.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29680.
