Obituary

Sherry Rogers Pace, 57, wife of Mike Pace, of Simpsonville, died Friday, November 1, 2019.

Born in Easley, she was a daughter of Ruetta Tinsley Rogers and the late Claude Robert Rogers.

Sherry was an avid equestrian lover and a longstanding member and steward of the USEF. She also loved playing golf and her greatest joy was being with her family. Sherry loved fast red cars, traveling to many different places, especially the beach, and adored her doggies, Idgy and Ruth.

In addition to her mother and loving husband of 33 years, she is survived by a daughter, Lindsey Massengill and her husband Josh; a son, Jennings Pace; a grandson, Asher Massengill; a sister, Dana Williamson and her husband Pedro; four nieces; seven great nieces and nephews; and father-in-law, Arnold Pace and his wife Barbara.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 4, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with the funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Downtown chapel. A private burial will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
