William Elliott Heath, Jr., 88, widower of Sue Ellen Huff Heath, of Mauldin, died Monday, May 13, 2019.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late William Elliott Heath, Sr. and Clara Mae Roberts Heath.
William served in the United States Marines during the Korean conflict. He was a lifelong member of Laurel Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. William was the former owner and operator of Greenville Glass and later retired from Binswanger Glass Company.
He is survived by a daughter, Paige Heath (Steve); three sons, Bill Heath III (Donna), Kelley Heath (Renea), and Scott Heath (Jeff Kozak); four grandchildren, Stephen Heath (Lauren), Anna Maria Heath, Jake Heath, and Clara Jane Heath Crocker; and a great grandchild, Mills Heath.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Downtown chapel. Burial will be held in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
The family will be at the home at the home of Mr. William E Heath, Jr.
