Zona brought such a special friendship to our mom. We loved her for this. Such a kind, smart, witty lady.

I met Zona when I took her communion at Brookdale. She was always so pleasant and always had a smile in her face. Every time I saw her and asked her if she wanted communion her face would light up and she would say “yes please”. She will be missed and I will always have a special place in my heart for her. I am so glad I was able to meet her. My prayers are with you and your family.

I’m sorry for your loss, pain and suffering. Whenever we lose a loved one in death we feel a sting and a void in our hearts, as if someone ripped part of our heart out. The pain seems like it will never go away. It will with time, or it will at least ease up. The Bible reassures us of that in 1 Corinthians 15:54,55 - “Death is swallowed up forever. Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?” God promises us there will be no more death. (Rev. 22:3,4). Turn to him in prayer.
