Ellie Juanita Dickert, 96, of Greenville, died Thursday, January 4, 2018.
Born in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late George Ottie and Emma Aleen Burton Dickert.
Ellie was a member of Wrenn Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Gwendolyn D. Earnest and Louise Whitmire, both of Greenville; a brother, Bill Dickert, of Greenville; three nephews, Kenneth, Chris, and Randy Earnest, of the home; and 14 other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ellie was preceded in death by three brothers, Winford E. Dickert, Burley T. Dickert, and George H. Dickert; and a sister, Rubylee D. Martin.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Downtown chapel. Burial will be held in Graceland Cemetery, West.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.
