Betty Williams Westmoreland

Betty Westmoreland, 74, died Tuesday, November 28, 2007. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late C. Don and Ruby Lee Hill Brown. Mrs. Westmoreland was a retired security officer with American Security and a member of East Georgia Road Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Ann Boyer of Enoree; two sons, John H. Williams II and Donald T. Williams, both of Simpsonville; seven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren, and her dog, Tinkerbell. She was predeceased by a first husband, John H. Williams; a second husband, Bob Westmoreland; and two daughters, Renee Williams and Wanda Wilson. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605. Visitation will be held Friday, November 30, 2007 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Graveside service will be held Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Woodlawn Memorial Park at 3 p.m. The family will be at 22 Raisinwood Drive, Simpsonville.
