William "Bill" Grady Aloia, 64, husband of Alicia Aloia, died Tuesday, November 17, 2020.
Born in Germany, he was the son of Camilla Holt Aloia and the late Nick Aloia.
Bill was full of life from his 27 years as a decorated Army veteran. Due to his love and dedication to flying, he never slowed down. Always willing to help everyone, never expecting anything in return. He will be missed by everyone who had the privilege to know him.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children, Angela Stokes and husband, Garrett, Christopher Aloia, Joshua Hipp, Jared Fielding and wife, Jessica, and Jacob Alwine; seven grandchildren; his sister, Anita Aloia; brother, Richard Lahmon; and his biological father, William Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his son, William Aaron Aloia.
Although no formal Receiving of Friends will be held, friends may pay their respects from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast Chapel. The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 1st at 12 noon in the Chapel. Those in attendance are requested to follow the CDC recommendations on wearing a mask and social distancing.
A private burial will be held in M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
