Blanche Weston Howe, age 86, of Greenville, SC, died Tuesday, November 5, 2019. She was the wife of Dr. Henry G. Howe.

Born in Charleston, SC on March 28, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Julian and Harriet Weston of Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Blanche attended Moultrie High School in Mt. Pleasant, followed by two years at Winthrop College from 1951 to 1953. She then graduated from the School of Radiation Technology at Roper Hospital in Charleston, SC in 1954. Blanche met her husband at the Medical University of SC in 1954 and they were married on August 6, 1955.

In addition to her loving husband of 64 years, she is survived by son, H. Glenn Howe (Kathy); daughter, Susan Irvin (Mike); son, Tom L. Howe (Tracy); four grandchildren, Ryan Howe, Shannon Navarro, James Irvin, and Brandy Morton; and four great grandchildren, Hayden Howe, Dash Navarro, Austyn Taylor, and Addyson Morton.

The funeral service will be held Monday, November 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Church Episcopal with a reception to follow in McCall Parlor.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Church Episcopal, 10 N. Church St., Greenville, SC 29601, or to the charity of one’s choice.
