Obituary

Bobby Joe Ingle, 66, loving husband of Stephanie Ingle, died Friday, February 12, 2021.

Born in Brevard, NC, he was a son of the late Walter Gray and Dorothy Ovaleen Ingle. 

Bobby was a member of Northwest Baptist Church in Travelers Rest. His love for children will be remembered, especially to those in the little league baseball teams that he coached. Bobby was an avid Gamecock fan. He was a great man and it showed as he could always be heard teaching others not to judge.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Keith Ingle (Trisha) and Walter Ingle (Shannon); grandchildren, Aaron, Dalton, Matthew and Emma; sisters, Carlene Allender and Sheila Gosnell; and brothers, Eddie and Jackie Ingle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Pam Dill.

Although no formal Receiving of Friends will be held, friends of Bobby may pay their respects from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will be held in Mountain View Memorial Park, Travelers Rest.

Masks are required in all Thomas McAfee Funeral Home locations and attendees are strongly encouraged to follow CDC guidelines on social distancing.
