Debbie was my roommate from 1993-1996 in Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. She lit up a room with her smile, super southern drawl and infectious laugh.

She taught me words and phrases that I still loving using to this day: sadness, ‘cold hands warm heart’, and ‘it matters not’. But the thing that I will remember the most is how much she cared for everyone around her.

I’m still in shock & trying to understand why another sweet soul is gone from this life, but I know she’s in a better place—just way too early.

There’s never been a better time to use her favorite word, SADNESS.

Love you and miss you already. Rest In Peace Debbie.
