Obituary

George Douglas "Doug" Huff, 87, husband of Rosa Jones Huff, died Tuesday, March 24, 2020.
Born in Greenville County, SC, he was a son of the late Lemuel and Nannie Cason Huff.
Doug was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He enjoyed golf and Clemson football. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War, and retired as a foreman from Duke Power.
In addition to his loving wife, Doug is survived by his daughters Susan McDonald (Bruce), and Sharon Smith (Mick); sisters Virginia Purvine, Bobbie Williams, and Edna Cook; grandchildren Jennifer Link (Matt), Amanda McDonald, Doug McDonald (Beth), Lauren Whitten (Richard), Chad Smith; great grandchildren Madi, Sam, and Andrew Link, Micah, Noah, and Hannah Grace Whitten, Kannon and Grayson Smith; and stepsons Michael Wilson, and Ron Wilson (Janet).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Lorraine Chasteen Huff; sisters Ruth Massey, Hattie Martin, Pauline Bayne, Mary Yarbrey, Kathleen Ward, and Sybil Greene; and brothers John Huff, and Walter Huff.
Per CDC regulations, a private burial will be held Thursday, March 26, 2020, at 1:00 P.M. in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church, 12 Piney Road, Greenville, SC 29611.
