Heather Elizabeth Jerbi, 44, of Arlington, VA, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020.
Heather was a graduate of Berea High School, a Clemson University alumni and completed her graduate studies at George Washington University. She was a former employee of The American Academy of Actuaries with 16 years of service and was currently working at America's Health Insurance Plans as Executive Director of Product Policy. She was a loving daughter and a friend to all who knew her. She was a passionate advocate for the adoption of rescued animals and an avid Clemson fan.
She is survived by her parents, Joan Rucker Kay and Larry William Kay (Angela) and by aunts, Carolyn Rucker and Nancy Rucker and uncle Tony Kay (Susan).
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Jessie Mae Rucker, Otis Rucker,and Helen and Andrew Kay. Also an aunt, Dixie Traynham and uncles, Rodney Rucker, Delmer Rucker and Thad Traynham.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home Northwest Chapel. Burial will follow immediately after in Graceland Cemetery West on White Horse Road.
