Although I only knew Jimmy for a few years, it was always a pleasure to be in his company.  He was always cheerful and very knowledgeable about the places we travelled to.  My wife and my prayers are with you during this difficult time.           I Thess.5:9,10  "For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.."

Ron and I are deeply saddened at the sudden death of our brother in law (more like a brother) Jim. We were so happy when he and Pat moved back to SC about 2 years ago. We were blessed to have them move close to us so that we could spend more time together. We will miss Jim but we are comforted to know that he is with our Lord.

I had only known Jimmy for a short time, but I did have the opportunity and pleasure to work with him on several occasions. He was truly a gentleman and a hard worker and always a pleasure to be around. He was very helpful and interesting in conversation. He will be missed greatly. Thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family that God may comfort and guide you during this time and forever more.

I was blessed to know Jimmy and always looked forward to our trips together. He always had a great story to tell. I especially enjoyed trips to Augusta because he would show me landmarks and places special to him.

To The family I pray the Lord would wrap His loving arms around you, draw you close and send The Comforter to ease your pain...He will!
May God extend His richest blessings to each of you!
In Christ Love,
Tom Myers

Pat and Family, I pray God's Grace and the peace that passes all understanding that only God can provide. I am going to miss Jimmy so much. I was devastated when I heard this morning. We drove to Florence Tuesday together and we had lunch Friday. Wow that's how fragile life is. I believe based on our hours of conversations, he is with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ . Jimmy until we meet again. God Bless you all. Dennis Owens
