Obituary

Joe Earl Phillips, 87, husband of Delores Ann Phillips, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late Charles and Ruth Granger Phillips.

Mr. Phillips served his country during the Korean War as a member of the United States Army and was a member of Burnsview Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his step-sons, Dale McLees and wife, Janis, Terry McLees and wife, Mitzi, Tommy McLees Jr., Rodney McLees, and Jimmy McLees and wife, Jamie; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a brother, Buster Phillips; and a brother-in-law, Charles Hooper.

He was preceded in death by four grandchildren; and his sister, Helen Hooper.

A cryptside service will be held Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Graceland East Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
