Jon Michael DeMars, 54, died Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

Born in Minneapolis, MN, he was the son of Ronald and Karlyn DeMars.

Jon was a sports fanatic and loved Alabama and the Dodgers. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and cooking. He was a great friend who would always make you laugh.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Hailey DeMars; wife, Laura DeMars; sister, Cynthia Bollig and husband David; nieces, Lindsey Falzone and husband, Logan, and Sydney Bollig; and nephews, Andy Bollig, and Joey Bollig.

A funeral Mass and burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org.
