I recently saw this notice about Joe's passing and wanted to pass on my sincerest condolences to Joe's family. I went to All Saints Grade School and Sycamore H.S. in Cincinnati with Joe and he was such a wonderful friend. I remember checking out joke books in the 4th grade to have new jokes to tell him. As kids, we used to imitate the characters the next morning at school from the Carol Burnett show that had aired the night before. In H.S. in Driver's Ed, I remember nervously backing up the Student Driver car, and he was in the back seat and gave me a comical scared to death impression that made me laugh. I also remember taking the dreaded Freshman swimming class for Gym, and his paddle board was floating away into my lane. I swam it over to him and he shouted "Thanks, CAROL !!!" Joe was very kind and sweet and he is one of these people I will never forget. I am so glad I knew him. -Jennifer
