Obituary

Josiah David Shealy, 17, of Travelers Rest, died suddenly Wednesday, July 1, 2020.
Born in Camden, SC, he was the son of Patrick and Kristy Black Shealy.

Josiah was a member of Grace Church, the Travelers Rest Campus.

In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by sisters, Rebekah Sobeski (Andrew), and Hannah Shealy; brothers, Benjamin and Daniel Shealy; grandmother, Linda Shealy; two aunts; two uncles; and twelve cousins.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Grace Church, Pelham Road Campus. The family appreciates those attending to follow the CDC guidelines on Social Distancing and wearing a mask.

A private family memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Church, Pelham Road Campus. The service may be viewed via live-streaming by visiting

A private burial will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Church Benevolence Fund,2801 Pelham Road, Greenville, SC 29615 in memory of Josiah Shealy.
