Lucian Simpson, Jr, 85, most recently of Woodruff, SC, was born in Cincinnati, OH on August 12, 1935 to Lucian Treadway Simpson, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Benge) Simpson. He was an US Army Veteran, a business owner, jack-of-all-trades, musician, an artist, traveler, gardener, jokester, and a storyteller.

Lou passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 joining his parents; three brothers, Charlie, Ronnie, and Winkie; three sisters, Angie Defabio, Helen Anerino, and Nancy Tubb; and his dog, Blanco.

He is survived by three brothers, Earl Simpson, Larry Simpson, and Tommy Simpson; nine children, Roberta “Kim” Simpson of PA, Annie Berghorst of MN, Lucian Simpson III of PA, William Simpson of SC, Maggie Wooldridge of IL, Ciana Simpson of CA, Pandora Grey of IL, Cassandra Simpson of IL, and Jacque Simpson of OR; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; his dog, Suss; and his companion Nancy Wells.
