Obituary

Thomas Arthur Ward, 74, loving husband of Sandra Ward, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

Born in Aruba, he was the son of the late Leonard and Gertrude Shields Ward.

He served proudly in the U.S. Army. Thomas was a mechanical engineer for Texas Instruments until his retirement. He was a member of St. Anthony's Of Padua Catholic Church and a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

In addition to his devoted wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Dr. Joanna Morris, Jeanine Ward; step-sons, Jackson Kammerer, Jr. and Bradley Reynolds; four grandchildren, Asher, Jed, Quinn and Matthew; and eight step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Caroline Dry and a step-son, Matthew Reynolds.

There will be a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

All attendees are strongly encouraged to wear masks and follow CDC guidelines on social distancing.
