Betty Richbourg

Elizabeth Betty Perry Richbourg, 91, of Greenville, died September 20, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital, Downtown. She was the daughter of the late Jefferson Perry and Maude McDade Perry. Betty had a beautiful spirit and was happy growing old gracefully. She loved people and nature, especially gardening and her flowers. Betty was a founding member and past president of Rockwood Park Community Club. She was also one of Westminster Presbyterian Church's founding members. Betty is survived by her son, Jim Richbourg, and wife, Becky Cronister, of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Anne Richbourg, and husband, Tim Dickson, of Greenville; her Chihuahua and constant companion, Maudie Belle; and sisters, Ruth Chrisman and Marianne Wingo, and husband, John; along with many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her former husband, James Richbourg; brother, Langston Perry and sister, Hazel Bradley. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 2:00 p.m. A private burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
