Dell Delk

Dell Gunby Delk, age 91, of 19 Kim Street, passed away after a prolonged illness on 7 September 2004, at her home in the loving presence of her husband John Andrew Delk and her daughter Sherrill Delk Pusey. Born in Wrens, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Lovic and Flora Gunby. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and longtime member of the former Augusta Street Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband, John Andrew Delk of Greenville; her daughter, Sherrill Delk Pusey and husband Edward, of Montclair, Virginia; her granddaughter, Cynthia Pusey Abelow and husband Michael; her grandson, Michael Edward Pusey; and two great-granddaughters, Gavarnie and Juliana Abelow, all residing in Northern, Virgina. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on 9 September at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, 639 N. Main St. Graveside service will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens at 1:30 p.m. on 10 September, by the Reverend Mark Evans. The family is at 19 Kim Street, Greenville.
