Deloma Foster

December 6, 1929 - June 23, 2014
Deloma Foster, 84, wife of Clyde Edward Foster, died Monday, June 23, 2014. Born in Cartersville, GA, she was a daughter of the late Appleton and Melissa Parker Elkins. Deloma was a member of Eastminister Presbyterian Church. In addition to her loving husband of 65 years, she is survived by daughter, Sandra K. Hawkins Derrell of Seneca; son, Roger B. Foster Karen of Greenville; four grandchildren, Pamela Durschlag, Lucinda Orr, Amy Hawkins, Raegan Foster; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Erwin of Georgia and Ann Townsend of Texas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Regina Gail Hopkins. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 12:00 until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with the funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Downtown chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Journey Hospice, 665 North Academy Street, Greenville, SC 29601.
