Edna Weir Carnes, 81, of Mauldin, died November 15, 2013. Born in Monroe, NC, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Eva Weir. Edna was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, sewing, and reading the bible. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Dodgens; two sons, Thomas W. Carnes and his wife, Deborah, and Robert L. Carnes and his wife, Marilyn; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Ellen Hartis; and two brothers, Desmus and Johnny Weir. She was predeceased by a grandson. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Faith Renewed Outreach Center, 505 S. Main Street, Mauldin, SC 29662. The family will receive friends following the service.
