Elizabeth Hamby

March 2, 1923 - July 2, 2011
Elizabeth Hamby, 88, of Greenville, died Saturday, July 2, 2011. She was a daughter of the late Eugene and Patsy Lark and the widow of Paul Charles Hamby. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall West. Elizabeth is survived by daughters, Katy Griffin and Pat Johnson Ken; grandchildren, Lisa Davis Steven and Lance Johnson; a great granddaughter, Charlotte Johnson; a sister, Florence Panagakas; a brother, Leroy Lark Judy; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Charles "Buddy" Hamby, Jr.; two sisters, Edith Simms and Lavinia McConnell and a brother, John Lark. In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 8551 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29617. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in Graceland West Cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes.
