Emily Scholz, 84, widow of Fred Scholz, died Sunday, January 4, 2009. Born in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rosa Genovisi Rovitti Mrs. Scholz was a homemaker and thoroughly enjoyed her friends and neighbors at Rolling Greenville Village. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Diane Scholz of St. Antonio, TX, Bob and Paula Scholz of Simpsonville; and three grandchildren, Kristina, Kerry and Craig Scholz. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 2252 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will be held in New Jersey.
