James Turner, Jr

June 10, 1967 - December 10, 2012
James Ronnie "Jamie" Turner, Jr. of Greenville, husband of Ann Hall Turner, went home to be with the Lord December 10, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Greenville, he is the son of James Ronnie Turner, Sr. and Catherine Nelle Guthrie Hicks. Mr. Turner was a member of Faith Family Fellowship.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughter, Jenna Turner, of Greenville; two sons, Jay Turner, of Spartanburg, and Lance Corporal Elijah Turner, U.S.M.C , of Camp Pendleton, CA; brother, J.C. Eskew, of Easley; step-mother, Lorraine Turner, of Easley; and step-father, Ted Hicks, of Pickens.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, in Marietta, SC.
The family will at the home, 198 Sawmill Creek Road, Pickens, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517
