Jessie Gunnells, Jr., 41, of Iva, husband of Jackie Snow Gunnells, passed away February 20, 2009. Born in Augusta, GA, he was a son of Sallie Mae Floyd Holmes and the late Jessie Gunnells, Sr. He was employed by Anderson Construction & Plumbing. Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother is his son, Jesse Lemuel Gunnells; four step-children, Jonathon Blake Snow, Jody Maxine Cann, Katrina Cheyann Cann and Terry Michael Allen, all of Iva; a sister, Tonya Jean Brown of Elberton, GA, and a brother, Ronnie Ledale Gunnells of Pelzer. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with visitation prior 1:30 – 2:45 p.m. The family will be at their respective homes.
