Joseph "Joe" Luther Locke, 60, of Liberty, died Saturday, June 25, 2011. Born in Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Fennel Long and Lois O'Dell Morton Locke. Mr. Locke was employed by Service of America and was of the Church of God Prophecy faith. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Frances Darlene Posey Locke; a son, Larry Locke and fiancée, Tara Young; two grandchildren, Kayden and Conner Locke; a sister, Fay Gillespie; and a brother, Johnny Locke. Visitation will be Monday, June 27, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in downtown chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland West Cemetery.
