Kathe Scott Walker, 53, of 5 Fair Hope Lane, died on Friday, December 9, 2011 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Kathryn Waddell and Herman Anderson Scott Jr. Ms. Walker graduated from Wade Hampton High School and the University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree, and from Greenville Technical College with a nursing degree. She is survived by a sister, Denise S. Singletary of Conway; a brother, Reverend H.A. "Andy" Scott III and wife Tawana; and five nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Coleman Memorial Cemetery with visitation following. Memorials may be made to the Patterson Graduate Scholarship Fund at North Greenville University, 1400 Locust Hill Road, Greer, SC 29651.
