Kerry Wayne “Butch” McGaha

June 6, 1948 - December 13, 2012
Kerry Wayne "Butch" McGaha, 64, of Greenville, died Thursday, December 13, 2012. He was the son of Dorothy Gayle Childress and the late Ottis McGaha. Butch was a graduate of Parker High School and served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his mother; daughter, Susan McGaha; aunt and uncle, Joyce and Gene Key; nephew, Jonathan Banks; and fiancée, Donna González. He was preceded in death by his father; son, Michael Wayne McGaha; sister, Lori Banks; and niece, Kasey Michelle Banks. Visitation will be held Monday, December 17, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at Graceland East Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made on the behalf of Gayle McGaha to Susan McGaha, 1841 Cornish Avenue, Charleston, SC 29412.
