Leona Tolliver

Sara Leona Cooper Tolliver, 89, loving mother and grandmother, of 10 Highlawn Avenue, went home to be with the Lord on December 11, 2005. Born on July 8, 1916 in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late E. A. Cap and Carria Hudson Cooper and widow of the late Tracy T. Tolliver, Sr. Mrs. Tolliver was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Lane Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Tracy Tolliver, Jr. and wife Donna, of Liberty; two granddaughters, Kim Conway and husband Jon of Greenville, and Sharon Clasby and husband Howard of Liberty; four great grandchildren, Levi and Chloe Conway, and Ansleigh Clasby and Steven Tolliver; four sisters, Lydia Stewart of Elgin, Lucille Morgan of Greenville, Esther Phillips of Easley, and Margaret Burns of Pickens; and two brothers, Rev. E. A. Cooper, of Greenwood, and Charlie T. Cooper, of Pickens. She is predeceased by four sisters, Leila Ellenburg, Lillie Mae Norton, Ruth Alexander, and Pearl Renner. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7:00 ? 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
