Leroy Putnam, 78, of Capstone Health and Rehab, Easley, SC, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late James Earl and Ola Mae Pursley Putnam. Mr. Putnam was a member of Second Baptist Church, Greenville. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Frances Batson Putnam; and nieces, Susan P. Snyder of Greenville and Nancy P. and William Looney of Simpsonville. He was predeceased by his brothers, James E. Putnam, Jr. and Charles E. Putnam. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will be at their respective homes. Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
