Margaret Garrett Henderson

Margaret Garrett Henderson, 75, formerly of the Woodside Community, widow of Curtis Hilton Henderson, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Lillian Garrett.

Margaret was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by three sisters, Joyce Edens, Bobbie Jean Cowart (Curtis), Peggy Ruth Reeves (Horace); two children, Mary Gillespie (Mike), Sharon Fincannon (Jerry); five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several loving nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and loving husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Bud Garrett; two sisters, Helen Reid and Mary Sue Miller; a daughter, Carol Inch; and one great grandchild.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Northwest chapel. Burial will be held in Graceland Cemetery, West.
