Marie Washburn, 34, of Piedmont, died Thursday, February 3, 2011. Born in Greenville, she was the wife of Jason Robert Washburn and the daughter of Carl Floyd and Gladys Roach Hampton. Mrs. Washburn was a member of the Redemption World Outreach Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her three children, Robert Dalton Washburn, Amber Nicole Washburn and Floyd Josiah Washburn; a brother, Michael Hampton of Piedmont; and a sister Bonnie Marchbanks of Liberty. Mrs. Washburn was preceded in death by an aunt, Carolyn Hawkins. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
