Mark Waluskiewicz, 28, of Simpsonville, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born in Mount Kisco, NY, he was a son of Jerzy and Eva Gierwatowska Waluskiewicz. Mark studied culinary arts at Greenville Technical College and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Surviving in addition to his parents are brother, George Waluskiewicz, of Simpsonville and grandmother, Teodozja Gierwatowska, of Poland. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be held in Chotomow Cemetery in Poland.
