Pearl Hudson

Pearl Hudson, 90, widow of Joe B. Hudson, died Thursday, August 5, 2010. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Cothran Dean and Leila Ross Forrester. Mrs. Hudson was a retired seamstress for Towne House Gallery and a member of Laurel Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Freddy Hudson and wife Betsy of Greer; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a sister, Sara Verdin of Enoree. She was preceded in death by a son, John Timothy Hudson and a granddaughter, Erin Hudson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, 15 Oregon St., Greenville, SC 29605. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel. Burial will be at Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
