Ramona Pitts

Ramona Sanders Pitts, 84, of Greenville, widow of George Pitts, died Friday, March 15, 2013. Born in Pelzer, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Nora Sanders. Mrs. Pitts was a retired textile employee and a member of Freedom Fellowship Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Brenda Woods; Wanda Gibbs; Trish Bennett, and Teresa Allison, all of Greenville; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. The visitation will be held Monday, March 18, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home in the Downtown Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will be in Graceland East Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Freedom Fellowship Baptist Church, 41 Ray Road Piedmont, S.C. 29673. The family will be at the residence.
