Rosalee Cox James

Rosalee Cox James, a devoted Christian, went home to be with the Lord on March 10, 2009. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Lena Bates Cox. Rosalee retired from Palmetto Garment and attended Cleveland Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Horace Dale James; her children; Jonie Price and husband Bob of Taylors; Robert James and wife Barbara of Knoxville, TN; Roger D. James and wife Julie of Greenville; grandchildren, Ethan and Katelin Price; Bryan and Evan James; Jenna, Andrew, and Marcus James; and her sister, Gladys Barton. She was predeceased by her sister Betty Motley and brothers Bates, Calvin, and Marvin Cox. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Inc., 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, March 12, 2009 in the chapel at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with burial following at Grandview Memorial Gardens, in Travelers Rest. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 – 1:15 P.M.
