Sharon Casey, 71, of Greenville, widow of James Casey, died on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Born in Hartwell, GA, she was a daughter of the late Ard Teasley and Hertha Howell Robertson. Sharon retired from H & R Block as an office manager and was a member of Welcome Baptist Church, where she was involved with the food ministry. She is survived by a son, Michael Weisner and wife Cathy; a daughter, Carole Anderson; five grandchildren, Casey Anderson, Fuller Casey, Will Anderson, Jarmon-Thomas Casey, and Lauren Weisner; and a sister, Jane Green and husband Wendell. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wendell Robertson. The visitation will be held Friday, April 18, 2014 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Welcome Baptist Church. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Greenville Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Welcome Baptist Church Food Ministry, 2730 Anderson Rd., Greenville, SC 29611. The family will be at their respective homes. Carole and Mike, I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Casey passing. She left many of us from high school with great memories. Such a sweet lady with a quick wit. Thinking of you all.

Sharon was a very giving and loving friend. She touched many lives while working in the nursery at WBC and there are many young people today who still called her, "Aunt Shay." Love and sympathy to the family.
