Truette Clark

Truette "Mumsie" Gasperson Clark, 74, of Greenville, died November 5, 2009. Born in NC, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Gasperson and Hazel Creasman Moody. Mrs. Clark retired from Sky City as a bookkeeper and was a member of Unity Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, David Clark and wife Elizabeth of Greenville, Joe Clark and wife Vickie of Taylors; a brother, Tommy Gasperson of Skyland, NC; grandchildren, Courtney, Michael, Brian, Matt, and Tyler Clark, Jay, Caleb and Zachary Stephens; and great grandchildren, Justice Clark and Brady Stephens. Truette was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, William E. Gene Clark; her daughter Dawn Mace Clark; and her son, Rick Clark. Visitation will be Friday, November 6, 2009 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held at Unity Baptist Church at 12 Noon on Saturday, November 7, 2009. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, West. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church, 12 Piney Road, Greenville, SC 29611. The family will be at 153 Brooke Lee Circle, Taylors.
