Walter Loudermilk, Jr., 72, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 24, 2009. He was the loving husband of Myrtle Loudermilk and son of the late Esther Hamilton James. He served in the US Army Reserves for 8 years and he was self-employed in the construction business. He attended Perry Road Wesleyan Church. Surviving in addition to his wife of 54 years are 4 children, Dale and Gayla Loudermilk, Lynn and Keith Collins, Daryle and Michelle Loudermilk and Dawn and John McKinney; 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; 9 brothers and sisters; He was predeceased by Grandmother, Ama Hamilton. Funeral service will be at 1:30pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel with burial in Coleman Cemetery, Travelers Rest. Visitation will be 6:30 – 8:00pm on Monday, October 26, 2009 at the funeral home. The family will be at the home of Lynn and Keith Collins.
