James Fred Johnson, 68, of Easley, husband of Glenda Turner Johnson, died Tuesday, March 30, 2021.
Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Lyndon Johnson and Margaret Owens.
Fred was retired from Continental Engines and was a member of Powdersville First Baptist Church, where he was a former Deacon, Sunday school teacher and usher. His family was the love of his life.
He is survived by wife of 47 years, Glenda Johnson; daughter, Amy Johnson; son, Justin Johnson and his wife, Jessica; grandson, Brandon Lewis; granddaughters, Abbi "McKenna" Johnson and Summer Johnson.
In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his siblings, Bill and Shelia.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Powdersville First Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mission Ministry of Powdersville First Baptist Church, 4212 Highway 153, Easley, SC 29642.
