Angelina Macchia, 86, of Taylors, widow of the late Harry Macchia, died February 5, 2014. Born in NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose Taverna. Angelina was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She is survived by four daughters, Diane Shelton and husband, Ronald, Lorraine Gensinger and husband, William, Patricia Charlton and husband, James, and Donna; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a brother, Anthony Taverna. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast, 1604 NE Main Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681, with the funeral service following at 12Noon in the chapel. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale Street, Memphis, TN 38105.
