Betty Jo Murray, 68, of Travelers Rest, wife of Richard L. Murray for fifty years, died November 18, 2009. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Flossie Hester. Betty Jo retired from 3M Company and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Diane Moore; sons, Kenneth and Robert Murray; 8 grandchildren; her sisters, Barbara Tanner, Evelyn Lynn; and a brother, Carroll Hester. Visitation will be Friday, November 20, 2009 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with graveside services following at 3:00 p.m. at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Travelers Rest. The family will be at the home.
